The University of Sydney uses the Open Day website for the purpose of allowing event attendees to build their personalised timetable and to keep informed of any event updates.

We will collect the following personal information about you when you register for the event: your name, email address, phone number and other demographic information (like Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander status) based on whether you are a prospective student or a parent/carer. We will also collect your preferred field of study to improve students’ learning experience and outcomes.

We collect technical information, which may include personal information about you, when you the Open Day website including e.g. IP address, device ID, cookie-based information, log data. We will use your personal information that you provide to send you relevant information about events and studying at the university. Your personal information will be shared with the Creatio Unit Trust T/A Creatio for the purposes of administering your access to the Open Day website.

Should you subscribe to receive latest updates for news and events your personal information will be stored in Salesforce. You can unsubscribe from receiving this information should you later choose not to receive information about future opportunities.

We will not disclose your personal information to anybody else, unless you have given consent, or we are authorised or required to do so by law. Providing us with your personal information is voluntary. If you choose not to supply your personal information you will be unable to build your personalised timetable and you will not be contacted regarding your interest in studying at the University of Sydney.
